Having a transparent supply chain is an important quality feature of our policy. This responsibility covers the whole process, and even includes the miller. Transparent, honest, reliable information throughout the chain forms an integral part of our policy. All the materials that are processed by us are traceable, and our quality service provides our customers with detailed information on product origin and quality. This transparency also enables us and our customers to take clear decisions in terms of salt, sensitive products, E numbers and the use of organically grown materials. This can only be monitored if the chain is fully open and traceable. Providing quality, and therefore meeting the customers' expectations, is a process that is constantly adjusted and improved by Borgesius.

In order to guarantee food safety and feed safety, Borgesius set up and implemented a quality-management system based on HACCP principles and various food safety standards, including BRC, IFS, GMP+, and client-specific standards.
